Centrica Energy Hydrocarbon Resources Ltd (HRL) is a subsidiary of UK-based energy group Centrica. Centrica is perhaps best known as the parent company of British Gas. HRL itself is the operator of the offshore Morecambe gas fields and onshore gas processing terminals at Barrow-in-Furness; which  significantly contributes to UK gas production.

HRL has a Bronze-level support contract with Absoft; providing HRL with 21 hours of dedicated support each month, plus on-call access to Absoft's BASIS Centre 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
