Recruitment Process

We advertise our career opportunities on various websites and also from time to time in the press. Absoft seldom recruits through recruitment agencies and is happy to receive direct applications and job enquiries at any time.   

We review all job applications and respond to all applicants in one of three ways:

  • Offer you an interview, sometimes initially by phone  
  • Advise that your application has been unsuccessful
  • Request to hold your CV on file for a period to see if a suitable opportunity occurs.

People can be sceptical when they are told their CV is being held for future consideration, but at least with Absoft, this is a genuine response as we frequently recruit from our database of CV’s.

We prefer to recruit to our Aberdeen office but we can be flexible depending on the role and seniority of the appointment. 

Regrettably, we can seldom offer visa sponsorship, and advise applicants to ensure that they have permission to work in the UK before applying to Absoft.
