Absoft Taking Steps to Support Comic Relief
Absoft employees are set to take part in a pedometer challenge this month in support of Comic Relief.
The challenge, which starts on 9th March, will see teams pitted against each other to find out who has ‘stepped up’ the most during a two week period. Both individual and team winners will be announced at the culmination of the competition on 23rd March.
As an added reward for taking part in the challenge, the final day will see Absoft host a charity bake off with staff being encouraged to make and submit their finest bakes, in hope of being acknowledged as the coveted bake-off champion.
Account Executive and member of the charities’ committee Jennifer Brown commented: “Our staff, and Absoft as a company, are incredibly supportive of charity initiatives. Not only is the pedometer challenge in aid of a fantastic cause, but it’s also great for health, well-being and team building, all whilst creating some friendly rivalry in the office. We are expecting the bake-off to not just be well-catered for, but well-attended too! We’re delighted to be getting involved in Comic Relief this year and hope to raise as much money as possible.”
All proceeds raised by participants in the challenge, sponsorship of their efforts and contributions generated from tasty bake sales will be donated to Comic Relief.
Red Nose Day airs on Friday 24th March on the BBC.
