Marketing Executive

Purpose

The Marketing Executive will work with the Commercial Director and Sales Team to design and manage multimedia campaigns in line with business objectives. The key output from this role will be lead generation and subsequent conversion.

The Marketing Executive will be a collaborative, pro-active team player capable of working independently but can take direction and input where required. Demonstrating focussed creativity, the Marketing Executive will develop an understanding of the Absoft service lines and be accountable for the organisation’s digital presence, including the website and SEO.

This role will suit someone with a passion to learn and develop in a B2B marketing environment with a keen interest and focus on lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate Leads
  • Manage Digital Strategy including website management, SEO and analysis
  • Strategy and execution of Social Media posting: Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, OilPro, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Ensure the corporate website is kept up to date: news, blogs, events, jobs, campaign landing pages
  • Organise and attend events where required
  • Manage B2B Lead Generation tool - Act On portal, monitor visits and target relevant leads with relevant content
  • Maintain the customer database (Salesforce) and export reports for use in campaigns
  • Create and send e-shots
  • Maintain corporate presentation template, ensure it is up to date for all staff to access and use
  • Maintain brand guidelines
  • Create and send internal company updates to staff (Monthly)
  • Monitor and Update items on the Marketing budget, save invoices and pass to Finance for processing.
  • Administer LinkedIn Sales Navigator and provide usage reports monthly
  • Arrange demo recording with consultants and provide support where appropriate
  • Liaise with external design agency in creation of marketing and event collateral
  • Liaise with external PR agency on press articles, case studies and other relevant materials.
  • Standards

Priorities are agreed with the Commercial Director and time is managed effectively to achieve these.

  • Leads generation is monitored in each campaign and first level follow up and assessment of leads is undertaken
  • Number and quality of Leads generated through marketing activities meets the annual agreed conversion targets
  • Quality assurance of commissioned third party work rests with the Marketing Executive
  • Absoft’s CRM tool is consistently updated and all contact lists/databases maintained

Reports to: Commercial Director

Engages with: Marketing Team, Consultants, Sales Manager/s

Person Specification

The Absoft Marketing Executive will possess the following professional attributes:

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrable lead generation experience
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Highly computer literate with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Have a good understanding of SEO
  • Maintaining Web-Sites
  • Understanding and competence in using CRM system – such as Salesforce
  • Have experience in implementing PPC advertising on Google, Bing and Social Media
  • Have the ability to create and edit graphics in-house using Photoshop (or similar tool)
  • Have basic knowledge of HTML
  • Proof reading
