A bit about the role 

We are introducing a pivotal leadership role to strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional client outcomes and drive strategic growth. As Client Services Director, you will oversee some of our most important customer relationships, ensuring we maximise value and build long-term partnerships.

This role combines commercial acumen with a passion for client success. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding strategic account plans, identifying white space opportunities, and ensuring we deliver solutions that align with our customers’ evolving needs.

Beyond client engagement, you will play a critical role in mentoring and developing our Account Management team – helping them unlock growth within their portfolios and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Working closely with internal teams, you will champion initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, strengthen partnerships, and deliver measurable business impact.

What you’ll be doing

Key Responsibilities will include:

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own and develop relationships with key strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Build and execute multi-year account growth plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and close white space opportunities across services and solutions.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide effective line management for existing Accounts Team
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance commercial and relationship management skills.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development within the team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and customer-centricity.

Growth & Commercial Performance

  • Drive revenue growth through upsell, cross-sell, and renewals within existing accounts.
  • Ensure profitability and margin targets are achieved across managed accounts.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, bids, and change requests to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate approvals for deals up to agreed thresholds.
  • Leading account strategy, sales growth, and delivery excellence across multiple service lines.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners (e.g., SAP, Neptune) to strengthen our market position.
  • Act as the liaison for strategic alliances and certifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Pre-Sales, Delivery) to deliver impactful solutions.

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures within the organisational remit.
  • Provide regular reporting on team performance, sales pipeline, and account health.
  • Share market and competitor insights to inform strategic decisions.

What we want from you

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Proven experience in account leadership, client services, or similar roles within technology, consulting, or enterprise software.
  • Strong track record of growing strategic accounts and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence at C-suite level.
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
  • Background in SAP, ERP, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with account planning frameworks and customer success methodologies.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
  • Results-driven with a focus on long-term client partnerships.
