Absoft Limited, the specialist supplier of SAP consultancy and support services, today announced contracts in the region of £200,000 with FMC Technologies Ltd for the provision of an SAP payroll system. Absoft and FMC have been working together for the past 2 years and FMC have recently formalised this partnership with the signing of a 3-year support contract.
The new SAP system will modernise FMC’s payroll, integrating it with the company’s existing corporate landscape where SAP is currently used to support the company’s global Finance, HR, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Sales and Services operations.
This SAP implementation, which was awarded to Absoft after a rigorous tender process, will bring significant modernising benefits to FMC’s payroll. These benefits include greater reporting functionality such as the generation of statutory and legal reports during the payroll-processing period and year-end processing as well as the capacity to accommodate complex shift planning requirements. FMC have 750 employees in the UK.
