Two of Absoft’s experts shared their SAP expertise with the Norwegian oil and gas business community at the annual SBN Conference, held from the 22nd to the 24th October at the Quality Airport Hotel, Gardermoen, Norway.
Absoft was exhibiting at the Conference, which offers delegates the opportunity to learn best practices and share experiences with other SAP users.
At the session led by Scott Simpson, Absoft’s oil & gas business director, delegates heard how to optimise recovery of allowable joint venture costs by capturing the correct data in their accounting system.
In another session John Meiklejohn, principal consultant at Absoft, demonstrated how to manage critical equipment maintenance by enhancing the functionality of an SAP system. Safety is of paramount importance to oil and gas operations and it is essential for critical equipment to function at an optimum level in order to minimise the risk of major incidents.
