Market leading ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution provider SAP has appointed Aberdeen-based software company Absoft as a TeamSAP Partner under its recently implemented UK Agent Programme.
The initiative aims to build on the success of SAP R/3 in the Small-to-Medium Enterprise (SME) sector and is an extension of the software giant’s TeamSAP approach, which defines how its network of partners and agents should work together to maximise clients’ return on investment.
As the only SAP Logo Partner focusing exclusively on the Scottish Market, Absoft will operate in conjunction with SAP VARs (Value Added Resellers) who will bring their specialist vertical market expertise to each project.
Absoft have invested heavily in training, infrastructure and resources to achieve a level suitable for accreditation. They have already won recognition among clients for their SAP expertise, primarily within the oil and gas sector.
Absoft have been involved with SAP’s R/3 software since its launch in 1992 and saw the Agent Programme as an appropriate route to official recognition.

Absoft have recently developed an implementation template specifically for the oil and gas sector which they use alongside the ASAP (Accelerated SAP) methodology to ensure rapid, straightforward and cost effective solution delivery.
