Pharmaceutical company Lundbeck, a UK subsidiary of the Danish market leader, has recently signed an agreement with Absoft for the provision of second-line SAP R/3 remote support.
Under the contract, the Milton Keynes-based company is provided with cost-effective access to Absoft’s team of SAP specialists, for the resolution of both functional and technical issues. Using secure ISDN technology, these issues are diagnosed and fixed remotely by Absoft’s Support Centre Team.
Lundbeck, which uses SAP’s software to support its operations in the UK, receives support for a variety of modules spanning finance, controlling, materials management, sales and distribution, human resources and payroll. Lundbeck represents Absoft’s first client in the pharmaceutical sector.
“Demand for our SAP support service is reaching new highs.” commented Ian Mechie, Absoft’s Managing Director. “We have two new customers already this year and it’s particularly encouraging to see Absoft expanding into new industry sectors and geographic areas,” he continued.
