Absoft employees kicked off Christmas Jumper Day for Northsound 1’s Cash for Kids at Aberdeen Innovation Park today with an array of festive attire.
The charity fundraisers were also joined by staff at AUPEC, Mother Technologies, Perigon and OGIC to help raise money for the local cause.
Each employee who turned up to work in their festive finery made a donation to the charity’s Mission Christmas appeal, which aims to make Christmas special for disadvantaged local children aged from 0-18 years old.Â
Absoft has also been collecting gift donations from the occupiers of Davidson House to help reach Cash for Kids’ goal of ensuring no child in the Aberdeen area is without a parcel to open on Christmas day.
Ashleigh Wood, marketing executive at Absoft, said:  “Cash for Kids do such an amazing job throughout the year helping underprivileged children in the north-east and their Mission Christmas appeal is a fantastic way to support these young people over the festive period.
“We are very pleased to be supporting Mission Christmas to help give every child in the north-east a present to look forward to on Christmas morning.”
A total of ÂŁ110 was raised and 54 gifts donated, not including any donations that were made online.Â
