Improving the user experience in SAP was on the agenda at an event aimed at promoting collaboration and best practice in higher education institutes across the UK which use SAP software.
Hosted by Absoft at its London office, the Higher Education and Research Special Interest Group (HER SIG) forum took place on the 1st October.
Attendees heard from Absoft solution architect Bjorn Harzer, who highlighted and demonstrated how Fiori apps and NetWeaver Business Client provide better, more intuitive user experiences in SAP.
Delegates also heard presentations on SAP Screen Personas from the University of Warwick and from SAP.
Debbie Mackenzie, public sector business director at Absoft said: “The way people work, consume content and experience technology to get things done is changing at a rapid pace and there is a growing expectation for user-friendly experiences when using technology in the workplace.”
“Our aim at the forum was to show our customers a couple of different options for improving the look and feel of SAP user interfaces across a range of devices – desktop, tablet, smartphone – to benefit from increased employee productivity and greater user acceptance.”
“With Absoft’s Fiori licencing and implementation offering, our customers stand to benefit from a consistent end-to-end user experience with interactive and attractive UI elements that can be used across all device types.”
