SAP mobility solutions were at the forefront of the agenda at an Absoft led event in Stavanger this week.
Absoft hosted the seminar to showcase their complete mobility offering to the Norwegian oil and gas market by demonstrating SAP Works Manager on a mobile device certified intrinsically safe to ATEX standards.
A roadmap to mobility from Kurt Kristiansen, SAP’s Nordic Mobility Advisor set the scene, which was followed by a presentation from Colin Croxford, Sales Director at Airacom, on the latest intrinsically safe mobile technology available in the marketplace.
The seminar came to a close with a presentation from Bjorn Harzer, Absoft’s Solution Architect, who summarised the key messages from both presentations with a live mobile demonstration of SAP Work Manager. Â
Over 25 delegates from companies including: Aibel, ConocoPhillips, Dolphin Drilling, Halliburton, Marathon, Statoil, and Wintershall attended the seminar to learn more about Absoft’s combined solution for mobility in oil and gas.
