Absoft Limited, the specialist supplier of SAP consultancy and support services, is celebrating its highest ever ranking in the prestigious Technology Fast 50 Awards – a league of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Scotland organised by Deloitte’s, one of the world’s leading professional services firms.
The Fast 50 ranks companies based on revenue percentage growth over five years, and the 2005 awards have seen Absoft rise to 14th position. This is the third year in a row that Absoft has appeared in the Fast 50 and managing director, Ian Mechie, attributes the company’s success to the commitment, hard work and adaptability of his staff – whose numbers have increased to 55 this year.
He said, “I’m delighted with the company’s Fast 50 ranking. Absoft has been in business for nearly 15 years now and this result confirms that we are still consistently achieving excellent levels of growth in comparison with our Scottish technology peers. It’s one thing to feature in the rankings one year then disappear from view, but it’s quite another to keep performing year on year – particularly in such a competitive business environment. I’m extremely proud of Absoft’s strong track record in this respect and am hugely appreciative of the efforts of the entire Absoft team – all of whom have played a role in the company’s achievements over the years.”
