Specialist SAP consultancy Absoft has renewed its SAP Partner Centre of Expertise accreditation, recognising the capability and quality of its Integrated Support Services division.
Absoft, which delivers SAP software system implementation, consultancy and support services across the public and private sectors, must pass a rigorous series of tests every two years to retain Centre of Expertise status.
SAP audits suppliers of its products, known as value added reseller (VAR) partners, to ensure they meet stringent standards in terms of the support they provide, and tools and skills deployed – all to ensure quality is maintained.
SAP audited all of Absoft’s key support and maintenance services that deliver the complete customer support experience. These include support desk management underpinned by ISO and ITIL standards; customer and support information management; service planning and review; contract management and administration; and development and innovation processes.
Keith Davidson, Absoft’s Integrated Support Services director, said: “SAP has raised the bar in terms of the stringent requirements which VAR support consultants like us must meet.
“It’s not an easy pass – our procedures, the technical infrastructure and call centre tools we have in place, as well as our ability to maintain a high level of success in terms of resolving customers’ requests are all scrutinised during the process.
“We are extremely pleased that we have retained our accreditation, through which we promise continuity and quality to our customers.”
